Dunedin / Wānaka / Queenstown
Architecture shaped by landscape, light and material.
Calm, enduring architecture.
Selected Work
Design-led residential architecture.
McLaren Architecture / Design is a Dunedin-based studio working across Otago, Wānaka and Queenstown.
Positioning
Architecture for clients seeking a more resolved, enduring and landscape-responsive outcome.
Process
A measured path from site to home.
Enough structure to provide clarity. Enough flexibility to respond to each project.
01 / Brief + Site
Reading the place.
We begin with site, context, orientation, privacy, and how the home should feel to live in.
02 / Concept
Shaping the idea.
Early concepts establish form, planning, and architectural direction before detailed coordination begins.
03 / Delivery
Refining and resolving.
We develop the design into a buildable, considered outcome while maintaining the original design intent.
